Can we implement a complete operating system as an EFI bootloader? Would we want to? (Nov 2026)I've been wondering whether this is possible because, if it is, then it potentially simplifies the development of new operating systems for PC-type computers. It turns out that it is (kind-of) possible, but practical applications are likely to be limited.
